3D Printing Training to the Youth Center
Under Fablab Mandalas innitiative,I have led the 3D printing training to the youth centers across Bhutan. It was a collaboration between UNICEF Bhutan, Ministry of Education and Fablab Bhutan.More than 200 students were able to participate and they were introduced to 3D printing and CAD softwares.All the participants were aged between 13 to 18 and were all school going students.
After the training, we organised a Innovation Challenge "Druk Innobooster" among the youth centers. The Innovation challenge was further divided into two categories. A solution challenge and social media challenge, a concept which we borrowed from FIRST Global First Global the solution challenge, each team had to go to the community and select a problem faced by the communties that can be solved using 3D printer.
First Global
I have led a team of 13 members with 6 mentors for First Global Challenge 2021.First Global
Our team designed a WASTE AUTOMATION Robot, which could pick waste from both land and water.And we also launced a cubesat sattelite to detect traffic.
