My name is Cicely Hassell and I'm an 18 year old aspiring artist (currently a senior in highschool). I was born, and raised, in Detroit Michigan up until 2012, and I've been living in the UAE ever since then! I've always had an interest in the arts and I've dedicated most of my life to drawing traditionally (only recently getting into digital art). I consider myself to be open when it comes to exploring the varying forms of art, experimenting with crafting, collages, and even stop-motions at some point! I'm very excited to learn more about the digital world and I'm excited to learn from and meet everyone! Being given this opportunity to experience FabLab makes me feel like I'll be able to properly develop and construct items from scratch and further broaden my own knowledge of the art world (on a technical level!). My main goal is to learn as much as I can from everyone around me. I also hope that I'll get the chance to help others in the process as well!°˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°

The project that I've thought up to do during this program is based on glasses I've previously worked on. They're LED glasses which will be motion sensored and triggered by a chain which is held on each end of the glasses. The reason why I chose glasses to be my project is because I am passionate when it comes to decorating them, so mixing my passion with a newfound interest is bound to create something wondorous!

I predict that I'll make numerous changes regarding this prototype as time goes on (it is a prototype afterall). I also predict that I'll make numerous mistakes during the process of making the glasses, but thats fine since making mistakes is only a move towards eventual growth! (๑˃ᴗ˂)ﻭ
