Hello FAB World, I'm Nihar Ranjan Mohanty, currently working as Assistant Director with Software Technology Parks of India, under Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY), Govt. of India, Bhubaneswar. I possess a Masters in Technology (M.Tech. in I.T) with MBA in International Business having an extensive experience of more than 20 years in Information Technology field.
I am happy to express gratitude to my organization for giving me the opportunity for imparting the Fab Academy Training where I can learn new technologies, innovative ideas and to learn next generation tools and software, as well as fabrication work flows and processes which can be further utilized to take forward my organization in a new direction globally. Since, Knowledge and best practices are disseminated throughout the FabLab network, making it a cutting edge laboratory for R&D.
Software Technology Parks of India maintains internal engineering resources to provide consulting, Project Management & Consultancy, training and implementation services. Services cover Network Design, System Integration, Installation, Operations and maintenance of application networks and facilities in varied areas. Today, Software Technology Parks of India across over the country are synonymous with excellent Infrastructure and Statutory support aimed at furthering growth of Information Technology, R & D Labs, CoEs etc. in the country with the objective of encouraging, promoting and boosting the Software Exports from India in different sectors.
I feel, I am passionate about technology and always carried out the new innovations. It also helps me learn about the next big things in technology and how they can be used in our day to day life. I am sure that this course will definitely help me to motivate my skills and development. In this journey, I could learn a new skills completely such as new ideas will help me to Experience a new creative approach towards my project and ideas. In this Fab Academy journey, I could be able to exchange knowledge, information, tools to produce something for myself or for the community.
Fab Academy is an intensive 5-months program that teaches students to envision, design and prototype projects using digital fabrication tools and machines. It is a multi-disciplinary and hands-on learning experience that empowers students to learn-by-doing and inspires them to make stuff locally to become active participants in sustainable cities and communities. At the Fab Academy, you will learn how to envision, prototype and document your ideas through digital fabrication tools. The Fab Academy is a fast paced, hands-on learning experience where students plan and execute a new project each week! Each individual documents their progress for each project, resulting in a personal portfolio of technical accomplishments.
Fab Academy is open for students, professionals, lifelong learners with backgrounds from all kinds of disciplines looking for new approaches or to broaden the scope of their practice. Fab Academy faculty, who are leaders in their respective fields, provide global video lectures, supervise academic content, and guide research. Hands-on instruction in the labs is provided by instructors who supervise and evaluate Certificates, develop and disseminate instructional material, and assist with projects.
