My name is Diego, and I am an Architect and Architecture Technologist from a little village in the countryside of Asturias, in the north-west coast of Spain.
I consider myself a very curious person, always eager to learn new stuff. I have always been very interested in knowing how things work. In my childhood, I used to make my own toys, and then I loved to spend the evenings disassembling and reassembling computers, motorbikes or whatever I could understand how it worked.
Professionally, I have worked both as an Architecture Technologist working on-site, and as an Architect in some architecture offices both in Spain and Denmark.
In the last years I also had the opportunity to get in touch with digital fabrication machines and techniques in my university, becoming really interested in this field.
This 2021 I enrolled in Fab Academy in Fab Lab Barcelona, and I hope it will be enriching for myself, not only in the architectural field but also in the personal, allowing me to become part of a comunity of people who make stuff locally in a more sustainable way.
