wHAT iS THE ASSIGNMENT ABOUT?

How did we work
We
distributed all the development and building work within 3 teams:

Main idea and construction of the
first prototype

Electronics design and production

Case Design and control
Electronics design and production
The
Electronics design and production team was composed of Rodrigo Shiordia, Iván Hernández (our local instructor) and me. We
were in charge of making possible the machine to move and develop the code to
make it do as instructed. Every team had something to oversee,
nevertheless, we could ask the other teams for things we thought were needed
for the entire project, so we were not working completely independently.
In
the electronics design:
-
We used the board designed by R. Shiordia for his own final project. We made some changes to
allow the board to be able to control both step-motors at once. The design was solved and we created the new board files and produced it.
In
programming:
-
Rodrigo managed the code because he
already had started for his final project, there were only a few changes and we
proceeded to the machine physical operation.
In
assembling the machine:
-
Our team was in
charge of making the final adjustments so the machine would work as
intended.
Conclussions
The development of this project gave me a lot of
ideas for my final project, from the packaging to make it look well finished, up
to the code and electronics design which operation is similar to what I visualize
I am going to need.
