Applications and Implications
So for this week I have to answer a few questions about my final project so here it goes.
What will it do?
So when I do a certain motion it will dispense milk into the spoon so the cereal doesn't get soggy.
Who's done what beforehand?
It was William Osman and he's really entertaining and what he did was more like a quick fix of this and what I wanted to do is more of a commercialized version of that.
What will you design?
I will design the thing that goes onto the spoon, the tray, the cisrcuit of the board that controles the motor and listens to the accelerometer
What materials and components will be used?
Accelerometer, motorized pump, a tray that is made with a cnc router, 3d printed thing that goes onto the spoon and a hose that dispenses the milk.
Where will come from?
The only things that will be bought are the accelerometer and the hose and the rest comes from FabLab
How much will they cost?
The
accelerometer
costed about 1500 isk and the hose 600 isk and for 3d printing will be about total 1000 isk counting test pieces as well and the tray is feom scraps that we have and the motor I don't know
What parts and systems will be made?
The tray, spoon thing, electronic circuit and maybe the pump.
What processes will be used?
3d printing, cnc machining, electronic production and laser cutting.
What questions need to be answered?
Can I make the pump here?
How will it be evaluated?
It has most the elements to show what I learned in this study, that it's possible to make what you want with almost no limitations and this project can be commercialized if I want to.
