INPUT
In this assignment I had to propose a final project that integrates several units learnt.

Remember that in the midle part of my Academy I changed my final project.
After I transformed an old car in a spaceship in my assignment to build something big, I chose to bluid NEVO | THE FANTASTIC CAR.
UPDATE JUNE 2
I am currently working on making the most simple model and easy to assemble for children.
what will it do?
This is a car for kids that has some inputs as: proximity, light and sound and outputs as: servomotor, sound and lights and can interact with children.
who's done what beforehand?
In collaboration with HP, OSVehicle and 5 FabLabs around the world (Garagem FabLab – SP. Brasil, FabLab San Diego, FabCafe Tokyo, FabLab Manchester, and Vigyam Ashram in India) along with FabLab Barcelona set out to design a concept car based on the needs and desires of the FabLab and Maker communities.
It was the FABCAR
Besides Andrew Mao student from CBA| MIT in the How to Make Almost Anything program built the Go-Kart
what materials and components will be required?
For this project I used this materials:
* Plywood (1200mm x 240mm x 15mm)
* Acrylic (600mm x 900mm x 6mm)
And these devices:
* proximity, light and sound sensors.
where will they come from?
Most parts came from FabLab inventory.
Some, I had to buy like: leds, wheels.
how much will it cost?
I am calculating the final cost yet, but I think the more expensive things will be the plywood and the shopbot service.
what parts and systems will be made?
Most parts will be made by me, like design, circuits and fabrication.
what processes will be used?
To build the car's structure I will use COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN.
To build the car's faces I will use COMPUTER CONTROLLED CUTTING.
To build my board and circuits I will use ELECTRONIC PRODUCTION, ELECTRONIC DESIGN, EMBEDDED PROGRAMMING, INPUT AND OUTPUT DEVICES, NETWORKING AND COMMUNICATIONS.
what tasks need to be completed?
I need to design the final structure.
The surface structure is almost ready but now I need to create the base of the car including steering wheel system.
what questions need to be answered?
If problems with the base structure and steering wheel system, could I use the old car that I used in my something big assignment?
what is the schedule?
Remember this was my original plan:
And I updated this plan because I had only 3 weeks to end my academy:
Week 1: Design and Fabrication of the car estructure, faces and wheels.
Week 2: Electronic Design and Programming.
Week 3: Conecting and testing devices in the car's structure.
how will it be evaluated?
I would like the evaluate this project since design and the interaction that will have with childrens.
This car, will be a FANTASTIC CAR for them and could be replicate around the world. Remember it was a child' dream and with this project he will know more about digital fabrications and how he could build almost anything.
