How to Make Almost Anything...
I've always wanted an aquarium, but not a simple aquarium... I want a fully equipped aquarium that provide an ideal environment where I can have the fussiest fish and plants. This kind of aquariums are very expensive, so I'm going to build my own low cost aquarium.
Build my own aquarium, gives me the opportunity to create a customized systems for environmental control and even create a communication system to control the aquarium remotely.
The control system for the aquarium is fully scalable, it will have free I/O ports to add sensors and actuators, only will be necessary to change the program to add new functionality. I would like attach the aquarium controller with a Raspberry Pi or computer to communicate the aquarium with wireless devices via internet.
I think it's a very complete project for the Fab Academy, I can apply most of the weekly assignments in each of the parts of the project.
