Week 6: electronics design

At this week we shoud to design our personal HelloWorld board using Eagle.

I`m still working on my personal MacBook, so i installed Eagle and all libraries on it.

Next thing you need is a components library:

In this helloEcho folder you also find an example files, which is easy to start. On example scheme already is

  • 6-pin programming header
  • microcontroller: attiny44A
  • FTDI header
  • 20MHz resonator

 

We need to add:

  • Resistors (10K and 499 Ohms)
  • Button
  • Ground
  • VCC
  • LED

 

Button should be connected to pin 10. LED - to pin 6.

I've never worked in Eagle, but it was easy enough. Most of the time spent on the optimization of the traces.
