About Me
I was born in 1986 in Chania, Greece. I received my Architecture degree from the Technical University of Crete in 2012 with highest honor and gained the financial scholarship for postgraduate studies by Michelis Foundation. I received my Masters degree in Advanced Architecture from IaaC, UPC of Barcelona, Spain in June 2013. Currently i am researching kinetic facade systems at IaaC and collaborate with FabLab BCN.

Project Proposal
My project will be to design a variable function piece of furniture.It will be mechanically adaptable and will utilize technological enhancements to provide light,
using the heat produced by the human body by converting it into electricity, according to the "Thermoelectric effect".
Although a design for functional furniture was my original intention, during the course of the Fab Academy the subject of my final presentation changed. The new theme incorporates more of the skills that were learned through the weekly assignments. Please click on the "final presentation" button below to see the development of my project.
