Biography

My name is Jeff Opichka and I am an educator at Johnson Senior High School located in St. Paul, Minnesota.   Over the past 13 years,
I have taught a variety of classes in Technology Education.  Next year, we will be offering courses in a Digital Fabrication setting, all of which will be brand new to me. For this reason, I am excited to be a part of the Fab Academy Class in hopes to gain knowledge, information, and explore new ideas.

In January, Johnson Senior High School officially opened their doors to a brand new core area dedicated to Aerospace, Engineering and Digital Fabrication.
With the emphasis on engineering and design, Johnson Senior High School is providing students with a variety of possibilities for innovation, careers, and the ever-changing world of technology.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three kids, building, and traveling.
