  Week 1: Project Management
Kicking off the course, the design of this website created a portfolio in which to document weekly progress. But for me it was more than that. It's been a long time since I last created a website from scratch. It felt good to get back into Photoshop and Dreamweaver.

I designed this website from scratch. First I mocked up the site in Photoshop, then used the slicing tool (for the first time) to cut the graphic apart. The table structure was created from scratch in Dreamweaver. From there, a considerable amount of tweeking happened. It was probably more than I should have put into the assignment, but I really wanted to have a website design that would hold all the good work to follow.

This assignment also required the use of Mercurial as a version management tool, including Source Tree, one of the most widely used Mercurial GUIs.
