Computer Controlled Cutting
This assignment was completed using Corel Draw and the 50W Epilot Laser Cutter.
The design process was done using Corel to create a snap together business card holder. The part was designed to fit a standard sized busines card measuring 50 X 90 mm. The material used is 6mm cast acrylic. I slected cast acrylic asthe material for this project becaue the thickness of the material is more uniform than acrylic which has been extruded in the manufacturing process. The cast material makes for better fitting joints used to form and interlock the 5 elements of this final project. To download a copy of this file click here
