| District of Bethlehem, also known as the Venice Amazon, located in Iquitos, Peru. The district is divided into Upper and Lower Bethlehem. Its name comes from its conventional architecture composed mainly of stilt houses and household ponds (located beyond the river Itaya). The image of the neighborhood changes by the rising and falling of the Itaya River. |
