My Final Project

I am currently working on developing my final project.

My plan is to make a lamp with no bulb. Using plastic tubing and LEDs, the lamp structure itself will be the source of light. I would like the lights to change colors and turn off with a remote. I am very inspired by vintage and decade fashions, so I chose to design it off of classic Victorian lamp silhouttes.

I made my first sketch, but once I have the materials in hand I know that the shape may change to accomodate for things like balance and stability. I included a picture of the sketch below!

The electric components will be hidden within the base of the lamp, which will be 3D printed. I will then 3D print a remote to be able to include the other half of the corresponding electronics.
