Assignments

This document outlines:

The assignments (what you’ll do)
:: What we want you to learn each week (why you’re doing it)
: The base-line evidence/proof/things you need to show about what you’ve learnt each week (what you did and how you did it).

:: Ensure that you have documented everything in enough detail in your archive so that you can do this easily.
:: Design files and code must be present in the archive in generically readable forms such as DXFs, STLs, etc., as well as in the original editable format.
:: Take photos, notes and screenshots as you work - compress and resize your images for web. Use these to explain and describe what you do.
:: All weekly modules must be completed.

:: Ensure that you have documented everything in enough detail in your archive so that you can do this easily.

:: Final Project (with video & slide) before you are eligible for Global Certification

:: Final project must meet the basic requirements

:: Prepare a summary slide and a one minute video showing its conception, construction, and operation. Your project should incorporate 2D and 3D design, additive and subtractive fabrication processes, electronics design and production, embedded microcontroller interfacing and programming, system integration and packaging.

Where possible, you should make rather than buy the parts of your project. Projects can be separate or joint, but need to show individual mastery of the skills, and be independently operable. Present your final project, weekly and group assignments, and documentation.
