Creative and enthusiastic instructor, photographer, and Makerspace Specialist with extensive experience in raise the profile of the MakerSpace Labs as a resource for STEAM learning.
I was working at Fab Lab Dhahran from 2015 to 2019, during that period I explored the essence of transforming myself and others from being just consumers to become innovators, how to become creative and think about solutions are what keep me deeply engaged in this field. I train over 600 people with different ages in 2D design and fabrication. Gradually, my passion for making and creating has been unstoppable. Therefore, I participated in the maker's community and became an active member that believes and reinforces awareness among youth and potential facilitators, therefore I chose to teach as a profession and my main goal is to equip my students with enough skills and knowledge to empower them, starting from the basics of mastering the critical thinking up to become creative and beyond. In 2019, I participated in the Maher initiative training program with the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia and National Talents Center, also with Engineering For Kids, for making more than 100 maker spaces around the kingdom, I train the female teachers in government schools in different cities to provides technical workshops in high schools to introduce students to careers and promote positive trends.
med 2017 I start working with The College of Design at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University as production and prototyping lab coordinator.
med of 2019, I started a portable maker space as a Co founder, focusing on teaching kids, I call it Kid Fab Hub
it aims for teaching the kids the basics of digital fabrication and coding with diffrent ways, and learns more about science based on STEAM learning. In Kid Fab Hub I create the curriculum of the fabrication course and train the kids how to innovate and make new things by using 3d printers and Die-Cut and embossing machines also teach them the basics of electricity.
I worked with different CSR projects powered by different companies like Sabic summer program and Sipchem tech club, Gifted summer program, and Stemina program powered by Aramco. I worked with Talented management to introduce workshops in the art and digital fabrication. I aim to help the parents to teach the kids how to become makers instead of consumers. I am looking to create a sustainable innovation center for kids and youth.
