At first, I was obsessed with anatomy and human structure for the past six months, so I decided that I will build something to mimic the hand movement, but as a start, I will design a human finger and thumb and I hope time to be on my side so that I could integrate everything to make a bionic hand.
So why I chose prosthetics to be my final project: “the obvious reason” is because I found that the project includes all the modules we work on like cad, electronics, and programming.
Also because I believe that the maker movement will help to or can entirely change the prosthetics industry. Most of the prostatic arms I have seen use the mechanical movement of the wrist to grab. The advanced one uses commercial kits so it doesn't always give you the capability you need or the cost is very high. And a lot of people that have a disability don’t have access to a good replacement and most of the time this replacement doesn’t work properly.
So my plan is to start with making a prostatic from scratch it will be very challenging and I will learn a lot through the process
And I hope that the 6 months will be enough to complete my project X”D
