FabAcademy 2020
ASSIGNMENT
Introduction
In the May 1970 issue of Popular Science magazine, Arthur C. Clarke predicted that one day "satellites would bring accumulated knowledge to our hands," allowing the transfer of data and video conferences in the world.
Basically the World Wide Web (WWW), is a system of distribution of hypertext documents interconnected and accessible through the internet. Nowadays with a web browser, a user visualizes websites composed of web pages that contain texts, images and videos or other multimedia content.
The website was developed in 1989 by English physicist Tim Berners-Lee while working at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland.
NeXTcube used by Berners-Lee at CERN became the first web server.
Assignment
The realization of the website is intended to create a personal site that will be our portfolio to house our documentation and progress within the academy.
I don't have much experience in creating web pages, so developing the site was a personal challenge. As my prototype is focused on children, I took some of my children's drawings to set the page
At the beginning I thought about using BlueGriffon to make my website, however I had several problems with the codes.
Finally, for the realization of the website I have decided to use MUSE
For this it was necessary to see some tutorials and play with the program to get to know it before I started designing the page
Defining the composition of the page is done in an intuitive and fun way, especially for those whose training is not entirely mathematical
MUSE allows you to preview the design very quickly, which helps a lot when making design decisions.
Finally, MUSE allows you to edit images and texts quickly, as well as copy established formats.
