Assignment:

For this week there were some sets of question which were asked to us and we require to answer those question :
* What tasks have been completed and what tasks remains
* What has worked and what has not?
* what questions needs to be resolved
* what will happen when?
* What have you learned?

Q1. What tasks have been completed and what tasks remains

Honestly saying this year is one of the most bizare year of all as until the last year fab academy was suppose to work like every week we learn new skills which arer perfectly set in the order and in that week we were required to completely understand that weeks objective and that will be going to use to make final project but for us without lab access many weeks passed and we can only able to grasp the theoritical knowledge
Due to this it take me more than 45 days to make project as i was required to learn the basics of everything when i got the lab acess.

TASK STATUS % OF COMPLETION
CAD DESIGNING COMPLETED 100
3D PRINTING COMPLETED 100
PROGRAMING INPUT DEVICE COMPLETED 100
PROGRAMING OUTPUT DEVICE COMPLETED 100
PCB DESIGNING COMPLETED 100
PCB MANUFACTURING COMPLETED 100
LASER CUTTING COMPLETED 100
NETWORKING COMPLETED 100
SYSTEM INTEGERATION COMPLETED 100

I was always constantly updating everything step by step , well we were require to make final project first then work on the assignments so until this week everything was completed

The only thinkg which was left is to present my project to NEIL sir as , due to COVID 19 and limited access i was behind schedule and missed the deadline , but NEIL provided my ay in janaury

Q2. What has worked and what has not?

My project is 90% operational , only part which is left is the FAN , as i didnt calculted the amount of CFM required for fans so i required to add a heaavy FAN in future otherwise every thing which was planned is working perfectly

THINGS WORK

1. CAD Design works perfectly as all the parts calculated and the parrameter's taken works perfectly.
2. I was able to control the speed of fan which was my output device.
3. I was able to program and display PPM sensor data on my TFT screen
4. My PCB design works on the second turn , just required one small itsy-bitsy change and it works as compare to several alterations done by my teamate
5. I was scared that i will not able to maker my filter's as due to covid i was not getting the filter or material

THINGS DON'T WORK

1. 3d prints were not suited for my project as if you have seen my design it has some points where thickness is very low and at minimum infill i am getting 6 hour per piece where i required minimum 6 pieces and if i increase infill or wall thickness to provide it strength the time also increases exponantially and the material cost also goes on increasing with it

Q3. what questions needs to be resolved

How much higher CFM fan i required , and what filter will suit it and with those filter which type of fan i can buy with

Q4. what will happen when?

Well for this purpose we were asked to make GANTT CHART to explain our timeline of project but that time line went haywire in the covid era. So iniatially i thought of completing my all assignments first within the stipulated time simulateneously exploring about the possibilites i could learn about my project. But it could not happen and we had to first do the final project and then explored the assignment part from there.
Plus when we thoughtto make the chart later andsat to make it we saw thatit was also in chaos as everything for coliding with each other, because we dont know a lot of things and due to severe lockdown situation thewe were not able to getour local instructor's help and online help isn't solving our problem
So i decided not to make a GANTT chart as i was also not sureand dont want to uploada confusing spiral here

Q5. What have you learned?

This course of fabacademy is one of its kind , the level of knowledge a person can get has no limits and its like if you spend 5 years working in lab there is still lots of things to learn andd this 20 weeks course is so huge that its almost close to impossible to finish this in 6 months of time and in true respect there is no course in the world which can made you learn this much in 6 months and the best things is that all knowledge is practical rather than theoritical and everything we learn is from zero and you understand everything from base , like from base to master lvl within a week.

Then AKGEC FABLAB is the on of the finest lab , having lots of high quality machine's and i really love working with these machines ,realy this lab with a little right direction can be the world's best lab
