By educational background, I have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Design from The University of Manchester.
The fun stuff…
I’m obsessed with freediving and spearfishing, to a point that I became an instructor purely to practice more, and I teach family and friends very occasionally. The deepest I’ve been is 51m, and the longest I’ve held my breath is 5:27. As I try to push my limits, I’m always in search of innovation in the sport, to get me closer to my prey. Naturally, salvaging my own catch to feed the people around me, has led me to also obsess over cooking, and so I enjoy getting creative with all kinds of food.
