Intellectual Property in México

  • IMPI - Instituto Mexicano de la propiedad Industrial Mexican Institute of Industrial Property, in charge of:
    • Registered brands and trademarks.
    • Mexican patent registration and protection.
    • Patent infringement.
    • Conflict of Interest prevention.
    • Mexico's innovation KPIs.
    • Designation of Origin for products.
  • INDAUTOR - Instituto Nacional del Derecho de Autor National Copyright Institute, in charge of:
    • Registry for contracts and literary works.
    • Copyright for periodicals.
    • Assignment ISBN and ISSN on literary works.
    • Source code registration.
  • Creative Commons México
    • Part of the Creative Commons Global Network.
    • Nonprofit organization dedicated to building a globally-accessible public commons of knowledge and culture.
    • Free, simple, and standardized way to grant copyright permissions for creative and academic works; to ensure proper attribution; and allow others to copy, distribute, and make use of those works
  • GNU
    • Part of the Free Software Foundation".
    • The GNU General Public License is a free, copyleft license for software and other kinds of works.

  • The project, as well as all of my work for Fab Academy will be licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 international license.
  • The source code will be licensed under the GNU Public License v3.0
  • I do not intend to profit from the work developed in Fab Academy, this was an academic exercise and allowing other users to build on top of my work willbe my pleasure.
