Introduction
So I have come to the last foot step of fabacademy course this year. I am very happy that I got to know all these things in last 5 months and also very sad, because it is going to end. So this week I am going to prepare my self for the final project. Intellectual property
Intellectual property (IP) refers to creations of the mind, such as inventions; literary and artistic works; designs; and symbols, names and images used in commerce. IP is protected in law by, for example, patents, copyright and trademarks, which enable people to earn recognition or financial benefit from what they invent or create.
Intellectual property rights include patents, copyright, industrial design rights, trademarks, plant variety rights, trade dress, geographical indications and some jurisdictions trade secrets.
A patent is a form of right granted by the government to an inventor, giving the owner the right to exclude others from making, using, selling, offering to sell, and importing an invention for a limited period of time, in exchange for the public disclosure of the invention. A product will get patent only when it meet the following three criteria: it has to be new, not obvious and there needs to be an applicability.
Copyright gives the creator of an original work exclusive rights to it, usually for a limited time. Copyright does not cover ideas and information themselves, only the form or manner in which they are expressed.
A trademark is a recognizable sign, design or expression which distinguishes products or services of a particular trader from the similar products or services of other traders.
It is a formula, practice, process, design, instrument, pattern, or compilation of information which is not generally known. By keeping the secrets leads to obtain more economic advantages..
Open Source Intiative Licenses
I come across many open source systems during this course. Now I have come to the end of it and learn that there are plenty of more system that available for me to user. I also realised thats a community is exisited for supporting open source.Since now your Idea is a need of a mass community it will grow exponentially insted of a slow linear growth.opensource ain't means you cant make product based on opensource technologies. We can make and sell products based on these products by staying with in that opensource licence.There are different types of opensource licenses are available . In this week let us see some of them.
GNU General Public License (GPL)
The GNU General Public License (GNU GPL or GPL) is a widely used free software license, which guarantees end users the freedom to run, study, share and modify the software. The license was originally written by Richard Stallman of the Free Software Foundation (FSF) for the GNU Project, and grants the recipients of a computer program the rights of the Free Software Definition. The GPL is a copyleft license, which means that derivative work can only be distributed under the same license terms. This is in distinction to permissive free software licenses, of which the BSD licenses and the MIT License are widely used examples. GPL was the first copyleft license for general use ~ Wikipedia

Creative Commons
Creative Commons (CC) is an American non-profit organization devoted to expanding the range of creative works available for others to build upon legally and to share.The organization has released several copyright-licenses known as Creative Commons licenses free of charge to the public. These licenses allow creators to communicate which rights they reserve, and which rights they waive for the benefit of recipients or other creators. An easy-to-understand one-page explanation of rights, with associated visual symbols, explains the specifics of each Creative Commons license. Creative Commons licenses do not replace copyright, but are based upon it. They replace individual negotiations for specific rights between copyright owner (licensor) and licensee, which are necessary under an "all rights reserved" copyright management, with a "some rights reserved" management employing standardized licenses for re-use cases where no commercial compensation is sought by the copyright owner. It is the most liberal than most other licenses and anyone can use and modify the software when they speacify original file and creator's name . The only condition is that it be accombanied by license agreement.The MIT license declaration is given below.

I wanted my project to be used by as many people as possible. As of now I don't have any plan of turning my project into a business. So I decided to share my design for free so that people could download,copy and modifyit into a better product.Currently I want to modify some parts of my project after completing my academy.End of the day I want to see people get benefited by my project.
