Project Development

what is the deadline? How much time do I have left?

The deadline is the 22th of june, 4 days left

what tasks have been completed, and what tasks remai n?

i completed all the electronics, the 3Dprinting, cnc & laser cutting. i have to assemble everypart together and finish my documentation.
for keeping track or my project i made a big White board tool where i can check where i am every day.
We can see that the conception of the enclosure was made during the 15june, and not the 10th, like it should be.

how will I complete the remaining tasks in time?

it sound dooable to finish everything in time,
I left a Week of margin during my final two weeks ago. well that was a good thing i did. i had a lot of stuff to report.
i know that i will make a proof of concept for my project. and not the perfect version the first time.
So i won't lost time in some redesigning Hinges, or Make specific piece for headphone support this week.
Spiral management.

what has worked?

the electronics, was a big thing. i made some AtTiny85 without any resonator and that was my mistake, hopefully with a lot of debugging now it's working great.

what hasn't?

the hinges, i had to redesign them, the first one was really small and to fragile for a really usable object.

what questions still need to be resolved?

  • After the pressure weeks of the fabacademy, i will took time to redisign some part of my project.

    • the fixation between the pannel and the wood frame need to be more efficient. glue do not solve everything.
    • A would make a new electronic board with USB output for recharging the Mic, during long recording session.
    • Adding a Headphone support could be a good thing to do.
    • redisign the hinges to being bigger could be a good thing to do.

    what have you learned

A lot., making a big project like that was good thing, with a lot of small process i already knew but never really go deeply in them. electronics for exemple i already made small shield with eagle, but know i'am able to make my own microcontroller board in SMD. --
