Disassmeble an old 3D printer

Our lab has disfuntional 3D printers. We disassemble it to recycle the components.

Research 2016 oil painting machine


After disassembling and researching, we close our idea about z axis movement. we decided to use cables from 3d printer and put spinning moter(M4) into the holder frame.

Desing with fusion360, 2nd version

After we made prototype with lasercutter, we found out the first idea was not stable, and complicated. so we decided to change it. I looked for lots of references and Nadya's modular was really helpful to solve our problem. Because JinHeok who made the first design of dxf file went to on business trip, I do the second version of design with fusion360.
I found out M2(y axis motor)have to be change to blue spot. If it is at red spot, it cross the rod of moter M1.
