3D Printing.

Concept.

The 3D printing part of the system is the bottom lid of the cube. It has been previously designed during the Computer Aided Design Week.

Using this bottom lid the cube is sealed from the bottom and gives a handle for the user to grasp and open the lid to exchange the battery or simply access the electronics.

Settings.

The exported STL file was processed using Cura for 0.6 mm nozzle and the following settings:

Results.

The first print resulted in being too tight and the board did not fit inside. Giving a slight 0.5 mm offset for each side of the 3D Model, resulted in better fitting of the system.

The board fits tightly inside the 3D printed part.
