I love the beach, even in winter.

I'm a high school science teacher in my fifteenth year of teaching physics and a variety of other sciences. I've taught Physics (AP, Honors, and Standard), Chemistry (Honors and Standard), Physical Science, Earth Science, AP Environmental Science, and Astronomy.

I have a wonderful daughter who recently graduated with a BS in Biology (the one science I've never taught, is that a coincidence?) from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. I have a wonderful supportive partner of six years who I sincerely hope remains supportive throughout this rigorous process! At any given time I have a dog, a cat, and numerous other small animals.
