My name is Tanvir Khorajiya, an engineer with degree in mechanical engineering. I have got involved myself with 3d printing technology from college time, in final year my project got selected among top 25 around the globe in Additive Manufacturing Product design challenge by ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) and invited at Montreal, Canada in 2014.

 

Since then I have worked in 3d printing company in India, and got 2 years of experience in prototyping with automobile and manufacturing companies’ R&D and product development teams. To excel further in field of additive manufacturing and in digital fabrication I have joined FabLab CEPT, and currently handling FabLab and its operations.

 

I have enrolled myself for Fab Academy to learn interdisciplinary knowledge that I think is very essential for me as I am aiming to initiate research in Additive manufacturing, to start with in this direction I have chosen my final project to make device that manufacture material for 3d printing, later I want to extend this to develop more advanced 3d printing materials for need of medical and manufacturing industry.

 

Apart from this my leisure pursuit is wide-range reading, from mystery fiction to human endeavor, from Agatha Christie to Noah Harari.
