Projects can be separate or joint, but need to show individual mastery of the range of skills covered
Where possible, you should make rather than buy the parts of your project.
What will it do?
For my final project I have been working towards a 4 axis CNC hot wire foam cutting machine.
This project was born from the need to manufacture wings quickly. Some of the users of my workshop are students of aerospace engineering and do not have a tool to manufacture wings quickly and effectively
Who's done what beforehand?
This is an existing machine at an industrial level but in this case we talk about a DIY machine, I have found some examples on the internet of projects made, as well as some FabAcademy project.

There is important mechanism in this machine, it is the tensioner of the hot wire. Will the design concept work?.
Will I be able to make all systems "talk" to each other?.
