PROJECT PROPOSAL

HAVE YOU EVER WRITTEN A SHOPPING LIST WITH ALLT HE THINGS YOU NEED ONLY TO GET TO THE SHOP AND REALISE YOU FORGOT YOUR LIST ON THE TABLE, COUNTER AT HOME??
HAVE YOU EVER REMEMBERED SOMETHING YOU NEEDED TO BUY IN THE MIDDLE OF A MEETING AND WISHED FOR A WAY TO REMEMBER LATER?

My project idea is a smart shopping list/ writing pad that can be attached to a ladies wallet.
Following the idea of the paper thin touch pad technology that is arising, i have decided to make this my project.
The main reason behind this is to eliminate the use of paper and reduce carbon footprint in the same process.
Otherwise, this also brings the added advantage of always being attached to the wallet(which we rarely forget!!, unlike the countless shopping lists.), when at the shop ,any time you open your wallet you will see the list thus remembering what you needed to purchase before you leave.
The smart list can also be used as a notepad to jote down numbers etc.

THE SMART LIST SPECS

  • The smart list will be made with a non glass material to make it less breakable.

  • It should run on very little enegy as well as be solar rechargable.

  • It should be thin to prevent bulkiness and touch enabled as well.

  • Each smart list will contain a unique serial number that can be used on the special app to connect to the list.

  • The app will be downloadable to a user's phone, and with the serial number entry, it will automatically link to the specific list, whenever the user types into the app and submits it, the message will be sent to the list.

  • To reduce energy usage and the requirement to leave the smart list on, any time the user switches it on,it will automatically update itself and display all the messages saved in memory it as well as the ones sent from the app.

  • The smart list itself should be unaffected by magnetic interfernce as  most wallets contain magnetic snaps.

  • The back of the pad will contain a clip that can be used to attach it to the wallet.
