Develop a plan for dissemination of your final project

Invention
My final project, Tip Tap Toes, consists of three parts. It consists of hardware, software, and the design process for shoe construction. The project and all the additional files will be available online through my Fab Academy website and will be available to the public to download and develop further as desired.

Intellectual Property and Income
It was very difficult for me to think about a 'plan for dissemination', the reason is simple: My project can be disseminated into two separate and distinct processes, one being hardware/software and the other a novel design process. I would like to continue working on developing this idea of customized and personalized digitally fabricated shoe making and integrating electonics within it. I am also a big believer in the open-source movement and that sharing information helps improve and develop ideas in a responsible and professional manner. Just as I had references open-sources codes and programming into my work, I am also putting my hardware/software documentation for others to benefit from in their own work. With that said, all work published on this website is published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported (CC BY-SA 3.0) license.

I plan to continue investigation of this project until I can refine it to a safe, cheap and aestheticly pleasing level. To reach this point, I'd like to search for support through crowdfunding and see firsthand the amount of interest there is in this idea at a commercial level. For this purpose, I'll also be publishing the project on the Indiegogo crowdfunding platform under the same license.
