Using paper sketching
First i thought of geometric pieces that can be put together and form flexibly combined solid geometry (3D)
Purposes of the cardboard triangular based shapes:
1- Educational purposes
2- Decoration
3- Gift box
4- Night light
and much more...

Using Illustrator/ Corel Draw
After developing each idea i designed the geometric 2D structure on illustrator and cut it through Corel Draw on the laser cutter.
Attempt #1: Rectangles: They were not flexible enough for the user to create different solid shapes with them.
Attempt #2: Wooden triangles: The wood did not function well on this design since it hardly interlocks with the last (third) side of the pyramid as shown in the following picture.
Attempt #3: Cardboard Triangles: This was the best and last attempt and it finally worked well and the material functioned properly.

After cutting the designed parts on the laser cutting machine, i tried many different 3D shapes with those interlocking triangles.
It can be used in many ways such as a game for kids or an educational kit, DIY lampe product (build your own night lamp), a gift box...etc
