Invention, Intellectual property and Income (Week 17)

As part of Fab Academy’s next assignment, we are to develop a plan for dissemination of our final project.

I intend to sell the circuit as a kit, with a set of LEDs and programming cable, to allow my customers to modify the code and fix the circuit where ever they want to.

I am expecting my target audience to be between 15 - 35 yrs with some knowledge of coding and circuit systems.

I shall keep it open source and would love to have others collaborate and create something better than what I have.

Income will be generated by selling kits and conducting workshops. Of course, my prime motivation is to not make money but to disseminate knowledge and interest.

This venture will be a Private Limited company, the usual practice in India and shall be bootstrapped.
