Input Device - Temperature Sensor (Week 10)
The aim of this class assignment was to create an input device and program it. The tutorials and general informations can be found "here".
I liked the idea of making a temperature sensor for this week’s project as it fuels my passion to make Surveillance Drones and takes me a step head in achieving the same.
I must confess. After so many experiments with the milling machine, this time, I was able to mill a board all by myself, and quite easily !
It took me sometime to locate NTC in CEPT Fablab as I am very new to electronics and dont understand a lot of jargons.
For some reason, helloTemp gave me an error for fuse while programming. It asked me if I am ok to change the fuse to a different location. Affirmative response to the question helped in successfully coding the board.
I am unable to visualise the circuit using pyserial and would appreciate any help in this regard.
helloTEMP Fuse Error
helloTEMP Program Success !
UPDATE :
I was able to mill, solder and program the phototransistor board much faster and easily. Also able to visualise the sensor. Zero errors and success in first shot :D
Watch the sensor in action here.
