Laser Cutting
Design
its basically a lamp, with the famous IQ LIGHT model, I did the drawings using AutoCAD 2013. But due to the curved lines the laser The laser cutter gave me hard time trying to read the splines, it kept giving me "job is done" message although it wasn't!!. I had to redraw it more than once using different commands on AutoCAD till I used arches and straight lines, then converted the final unit to "boundary" and thats it the machine saw it.
The Cutting
I didn't need high frequency as I was using paper but I needed hight speed to avoid any burns that might change the dimension of the piece. the cutting was successful and fast I had to send same job three times for the three different colors.
The Fitting
I used three different colors to aperient distinguishing the raws and give a better look over all. The design needed 10 pieces from each color.
