This has been a good exercise for my design skills the biggest problem for me with this assignment was not designing and not fabrication it was finding something practical to make and then i remembered that i had a robotics expo coming up for kids and i had to build sample robots so i decided to build a light seeking robot and thus came the idea of building the enclosures as a press fit box and thus started sketching some ideas and then went to the computer opened Corel draw and started drawing the different pieces

After that I imported the DWG file into inventor 2012 and extruded each part into 3D

After That I imported all the 3D files into an assembly and well virtually assembled it to make sure all my geometry was right and and it checked out

So after all the geometry checked out i sent the Corel Draw file to the laser cutter and i cut the enclosure out of 3mm(2.3mm to be exact) and 5 min latter i had all the parts in my hand
