About me¶

Hello! My name is Castor. I am Filipino-American. My parents moved our family to the USA when I was 5, and in 2015 we all officially became citizens!
In my teen years I was struck with an illness that left me bedridden. I loved school and science, but I was too sick to do anything. So I made art.

Through the love and support of my family I have been able to recover! While I would not say I live a normal life, I am happy to say I live a fun and varied life!
So far I have:
- Designed 100+ kitchens
- Worked as a card dealer at a casino
- Worked at Westport Museum of Contemporary Art and the Housatonic Museum of Art
- Earned my black belt in Shaolin Kempo Karate
- Run a small business selling my art
- Started & organized regular community events
- Graduated with my degree in Fine Arts
I am a huge fan of Human Centered Design. As an aspiring engineer I want to channel the lessons I’ve learned from art and sales to make people’s everyday lives peaceful and beautiful. Through my designs, I hope to share the beauty and joy of everyday life. I hope you enjoy my artwork.
