Week09

Week 9 Group assignment:

• Probe an input device(s)’s analog levels and digital signals (As a minimum, you should demonstrate the use of a multimeter and an oscilloscope.)
• Document your work on the group work page and reflect on your individual page what you learned

Probing analog level

The DSO in FabLab Nagoya is Keisight DSOX2002A. We measure the output of linear potentiometer Yoshi used for his week 9 assignment.

DSOX2002A has capability to save screenshot, so we took screenshot. We could confirm the position of potentiometer will be reflected on output voltage.

DMM in Lab is Sanwa PM3. We also confirmed the output voltage will be change by the position of linear potentiometer.

Probing digital signal

For the digital signal, we measure I²C signal between microcontroller and text LCD. Since it was built on breadboard and we probe roughly, measured waveform wasn’t becautiful.
