FINAL PROJECT
HEXAMODULAR KINETIC SYSTEM
The tentative final project consists of a kinetic modular panel designed for windows, curtain walls, or facades. This project arises from the pursuit of thermal comfort within the bioclimatic architecture of the Peruvian environment and reality. Furthermore, it explores the diverse forms and designs that facades or panels can achieve, working with the interplay of light and shadow driven by solar positioning.
The project development is divided into three phases:
1. The creation of the hexagonal module, including its mechanical and electronic components.
2. The assembly of the modules to form the panel or facade; a simple and optimized interlocking mechanism must be designed.
3. Functionality testing as a sun-adaptive shading facade
