About Me
Hey! I'm Nadec Biju, a Mechanical Engineering student at CUSAT (2022-2026). I'm really into digital fabrication, robotics, and building cool stuff.
I love that moment when an idea goes from being just a thought to something you can actually hold in your hands.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been taking things apart to see how they work, then putting them back together (usually better than before). Making, breaking, fixing, and redesigning things is what I do best. Over time, this turned into building actual projects like off-road machines, hydrogen buggies, and tons of mechanical systems that started as rough sketches and became real working parts.
CAD is where my ideas come to life. It’s where messy thoughts turn into actual designs with real measurements and mechanisms that work in the real world.
I love solving problems that don’t have instructions, designing things that don’t exist yet, and taking projects from “what if?” to “it actually works!” For me, engineering isn’t just about formulas or software , it’s about creating things that move, improve, sometimes fail, and finally do something that matters.

Hermes CUSAT#
SAE Bicycle Challenge team. Design Lead. AIR 5 Overall, 1st Place Best Design.
Indian Racing League & Formula 4#
Trackside intern at Indian Motorsports Academy - MEGA. Working with pro race engineers in Formula 4 and Indian Racing League championships. Hands-on with car setup, data logging, and pit operations.
CUSAT Fablab Intern#
Hands-on with 3D printing, laser cutting, and CNC. Developed a solid-state fan using piezoelectric crystals. Rapid prototyping and maker projects.
Ouija Board#
Built a custom Ouija Board as a fun maker project combining traditional craftsmanship with digital fabrication techniques. The board was designed in CAD and brought to life using laser cutting and engraving, featuring intricate lettering and mystical artwork. This project was a great exercise in working with wood materials, optimizing laser parameters for clean cuts and detailed engravings, and adding that perfect finishing touch to create a visually striking piece.
