This process is, more-or-less, Laminated Object Manufacturing. And well-known LOM company MCor is also based in County Louth, which I didn't remember initially.

Idea 2 - Peripherals for LDM Extruder.

LDM (Liquid Deposit Modelling) is a phrase from WASP one manufacturer of clay 3D printers. I am borrowing this phrase. I would like to make peripherals to enable preparation and mixing of materials that are suitable for this kind of extrusion (not limited to clay, but other bio materials, maybe even concrete).

Some comments. This is a really interesting project, some of the limitations that weren't apparent at first, the capacity is just the syringe at the top, and applying continuous pressure as well as keeping the auger going is difficult. It is a really clear project. It is documented and licensed for reuse.

  • Koshirakura, a workshop by the AA School (Architecture Association, London) and Shin Egashira. The 1st project was a bus stop built for the community, whcih is quite remote. The AA School team and the local prefecture worked with the bus company to extend the bus route.
