Why Take This Class?
My dad was a tinkerer. He could fix just about anything, and when I was young, I thought all dads were like that. From building a house addition to restoring an MG Midget, little did I know how much talent he really had.
Last summer, I purchased a used 3D printer from our engineering department. I was on the verge of committing to the 2026 Fab Academy, thanks to the enthusiastic insistence of Barbara and Tom, and wanted to get a jump start with the technology. Within a few days, I was hooked.
Why take this class? Somewhere along the way, I realized I want to be a tinkerer, just like my dad.
