About me

Hi! My name is Emily. I’m a hands-on maker who love learning by doing and turning ideas into playful or practical projects. By joining Fab Academy 2026, I’m excited to create things like fun communal games or functional tools such as an automated calorie intake calculator. I’m joining the program together with my husband, Timothy Mintargo, and really looking forward to meeting new people, exchanging ideas, and being part of an inspiring Fab Academy community! Previous work

My experience started with running a plant shop in Indonesia, followed by a career shift into motion design, working both in-house and as a freelance motion designer. I later joined an early-stage startup focused on solar PV solutions. After moving to Germany three years ago, I worked as part of a studio team at a cycling studio. Alongside this, I run a creative project called “Indonesian Bercerita”, where I produce and edit video interviews featuring Indonesians living overseas, building meaningful connections, content production, and visual design.
