About me

Hi my name is Tareq. I’m a filmmaker, designer and cultural producer based in Ramallah, Palestine. My research in urbanism focuses on the disappearance of agrarian livelihoods and rooted forms of belonging to place. I work across film, socially engaged art and sculpture to address geographic fragmentation and the alienating impacts of settler colonial violence in Palestine.

I’m looking forward to experiment and push the bounraies of making through this course. Looking at new possiblities that integrate digital fabrication and traditional craft.
