About me

Bio

A tinkerer at heart, and a maker shaped by the gig economy, my aspirations as an artist lie at the intersections of philosophical inquiry, politcal pressure, and art as a reactionary force.

This website will fucntion as a travel log documenting my work and progress.

I was born and raised in NYC and went to a small liberal arts college in Swarthmore, PA. My major was initially Astrophysics and then Physics and then Astronomy and then Art. Since then, I have worked at an Atelier and in the non profits - community organizing/programming sector as an Educator while maintaining an active Art pratice. My work ranges from sculptures to drawings to mixed media.

My more recent work is reusing packaging materials to create maquettes or materials studies. The atelier that I apprenticed at was a leather shop and so my ambition was to apply leather onto these materials as a way to explore a material relationship while also exploring a metaphysical one about doors and facades acting as portals.
