3D Scanning and Printing

What I Did¶

3D printed the Meshtastic node case designed in Onshape (Week 02) using the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon.

3D Printing the Meshtastic Case¶

Slicing¶

Took the STL file exported from Onshape and sliced it into G-code using Bambu Studio. Set up print settings for the case and lid, layer height, infill, supports where needed.

Printing¶

Printed on the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon. Tolerances had to be tight since everything needs to fit snug inside.

Result¶

The printed case fits all the components, ESP32-S3, Wio SX1262, battery, 2.4GHz antenna, and the SMA adapter for the LoRa antenna. Paired with the laser-cut 2mm transparent acrylic lid from Week 03.
