Computer Controlled Cutting
For my vinyl cutter sticker I decided to create a sketch of a logo on procreate. From there I brought my image to Adobe Illustrator where I utilized the image trace option. After the process was completed I was able to airdrop my image over to our vinyl cutter. I wanted to create a 3D effect so I used both blue and red vinyl meaning I repeated the cutting process on two seperate occasions. After preparing my laser cutter on the bottom right of the program I was ready to send the cut through as it cut both the stickers successfully. After weeding the ecxess vinyl from both blue and red vinyl I used the transition tape to apply the design onto my Ipad case. I am satisfied with my case turned out.
Kerf
I was definetly not a fan of calculating for kerf but after my first attempt I was able to create my parametric press-fit construction kit. I decided to only encorporate three slots
