So our lasersaur is getting old and is in a need of a refresh.

The idea is that I do this with students from the university.

Lightburn¶

So I want to use lightburn as the interface software as our 2 new BRM laser cutters are already using it. This wold simplify our Lab as right now we have 4 laser cutters with 3 different interfaces and quirks.

Identifying the controller that I have and the controllers supported by lightburn. So I asked Axel and told me that the controller is the same as in the lasersaur manual

Now to see what lightburn supports

It seems not supported. To double check I still did a scan within lightburn to add a laser to the app. Not recognized.

So I need a DSP controller with Gantry motion systems
