I have completed my BA. Although my background is not in the engineering field, I have always been interested in the Fab Academy course.
Vigyan Ashram is a school for the study of ancient Indian philosophy belonging to the Indian Institute of Education (IIE), Pune established by S.S. Kalbag in 1983. It emulates the modern version of the old Gurukula system of 'simple living and high thinking'.
Vigyan Ashram is situated on Shirur Road, Rajgurunagar, approximately 70 km (43 mi) from Pune.
In English, "Vigyan" means 'search of truth' and "Ashram" symbolizes 'simple living, an organization where all are considered equal'.
Harsh Tiwari is an alumnus from European school of Management and Technology, Germany. He has graduated in Electrical Engineering, from Birla Institute of technology and after 4 years in a manufacturing firm. He has been actively involved in the education and introduced Digital technology into the curriculum of the Night schools so that the children in these marginalized and remote areas get similar opportunities like there peers in the urban setup, which in turn would help them break out of the vicious cycle of poverty and open a plethora of opportunities for them. After the successful piloting of the Digital Night school, Harsh has taken up different responsibilities across the organisation like COS and Regional coordinator of Asia & Middle East.
