Hi, I'm Ernesto Castro. I studied architecture, but I don't dedicate much time to it—at least not in the traditional sense of the term. I'm more drawn to design and fabrication challenges. However, even more than the act of building, I enjoy imagining the ideas and poetics behind things. My interests are quite varied—I play the saxophone, I like throwing balls and scoring them in baskets. I just know that I enjoy things that don't take themselves too seriously. They speak not only with words but also with gestures, shapes, and movements. For me, technology is a means of expression, not optimization—because optimization is a big trap. But that's a conversation for another time..
